Wells is a very pretty little town where the people are more inclined to say hello than either in Cambridge or in London. Below is a picture of their rain/well/water run-off.
The town still retains much of its medieval charm.
We had some beautiful skies while there.

I didn't realize what a good job I had done in finding it on Hotels.com. It turned out to be directly across the front entrance gate to the cathedral green. By the way, Chaucer once lived in an apartment over a gate, though not this one.
