La Via dell'Amore: Part III or How I wrote graffiti on a World Heritage Site

We have now reached the covered portion of the via. Walking along the via changed into dancing to recognizable Italian music or into memorializing one's love in the form of graffiti on the walls.

Some were even painting on the walls.
Here is the accordian player who was playing something like "O Sole Mio" as we passed by.
As I mentioned in an earlier blog, our little getaway trip was to celebrate Bill's birthday, which happened to fall on the day we visited la Via dell'Amore. Here I am, joining the thousands of others who have preceded me in leaving a little bit of graffiti behind.
Happy Birthday, Bill!
