The remaining walls appear to have settled a bit, creating a cant in the walls. In addition, some of the stone was taken as spoglia to build the Castle.

This is the rainbow arch. I can't really find what it's function was if, indeed, it was constructed as a single arch. My best guess is that it was a structural addition at the crossing. While it is primarily Norman or Romanesque, there is a Gothic arch located in the apse.
Like Durham Cathedral, there is variation from one pier to the next, including the use of a chevron pattern--must have been a regional thing.
