Edinburgh: And now for a bit of culture

After the walk up the mountain, we had time to visit the Scottish National Gallery.  Outside these musicians were playing.  Normally, a little bagpipe music goes a long way, but I loved their music--wish I could bring you all of the selections we heard.  Here is Bill clapping away with the man-bag (mine) and getting sunburned.

I really liked the museum because they let us snap photos of most of the art.  Here are some of my favs.

Giovanni Battista Cima da Conegliano--
I like this because it's a work in progress.

Degas

Richard Parkes Bonington

Constable

Rubens

School of Burgundy

Picasso

Botticelli

DaVinci

I should like this because it's a DaVinci, but what happened to the faces?

And this wraps up our tour of Edinburgh.
