If you know Bill, you know that he attended a "special" boys' high school in the center of Manhattan called Regis. Admittance to the school is so elite that, yes, it is a privilege just to sit for the admissions exam.
Bill and I went up to the Guggenheim Museum and on the way to the Met decided to pay a visit to his old school.
As it turned out, there was a revue of music from the 30s. Below is a picture of the senior steps.

This is the auditorium. Not only are the students gifted in the IQ department, they're talented musically, too. In fact when Bill was a student at Regis, the school plays were routinely reviewed by The New York Times.
The revue was really well done and such a delight to discover.
Some interesting people facts about Regis: Regis Philbin was named after the school because his father was a graduate of Regis. Sadly, Regis didn't make it in. The inventor of Mapquest and Dr. Anthony Fauci (his credits are too lengthy to list, so here's a link: http://www.niaid.nih.gov/about/directors/biography/Pages/biography.aspx) also graduated from Regis, but here's my favorite graduate!
