Buildings in Boston that I like

The Union Oyster House is just across the street from the Holocaust Memorial. A trip to Boston should include some favorite landmarks, even if you've seen them before.

Or the old fort at the harbor.

There are old buildings and new. Here is the new Aquarium.

There were also moments of little pleasures, too.

Ornate carvings and strikingly simple flat-irons.

We liked these double dormer windows stacked one right over the other.

Copper spandrels and soffits.

And the sharp angles and brilliant skies.

And then there was brand-new building under construction that was being built along the harbor.

I like new buildings and old, and Boston is the place to see it all.
