We returned to the fen later that evening and found that our happy cows had returned, as well. Can you believe it, I had left my camera back in the room! I managed to take several shots of the group of them munching away at their dinner with my iPhone, but only emailed myself a few because in less than a week's time I had used up half my data quota for the month! This is the best picture. These cows are not cordoned off. Oh, no, I could have walked right up and petted one. However, they are bigger than I am, and besides, you all know my track record to the ER when I'm in Europe! Best not to tempt fate!
