This blog is written for my re-entry into the States, specifically for the Customs Official who might decide to inspect my suitcase. Here is proof of the Italian things I am taking to Italy. And yes, I'm taking lots of Italian things to Italy. After all, when in Rome . . . You see, I like Italian shoes and not just because they are Italian, but because they fit my narrow feet. For that matter, the Brazilians and Spanish make fine footwear, too. Of course, the Italians make wonderfully sexy tops, swing-y skirts, lovely purses, warm pashminas, and exquisite 18 carat gold jewelry. So, to the U.S. Customs Officer, you're doing a great job and these items can return home duty-free. But don't worry, I'm sure I'll have other things to declare.
