Cinecitta': Back lots

We had a guided tour through the streets of ancient Rome for the miniseries Rome, Florence, New York's Gangs of New York, and Jerusalem. Here are some of the pictures.

The above pictures are from Rome and show the public places.

Below are the back streets where the poorer citizens lived.

Next is the scaffolding for the set of Jerusalem. We actually went into the full set behind but were not allowed to take pictures because the movie is in production.

On the left is a scene from Gangs of New York, while on the 

left is a view that we could photograph of Jerusalem.
